Eat Your Way Out Of Inflammatory Pain
Pain is the main driver for people to take action, and Inflammation is a primary reason for the pain. We have been trained to take a pill for pain and that pill may actually make you feel better and it may decrease inflammation. However, the side effects can be deadly. Over the counter, OTCs, medications are responsible thousands and thousands of deaths each year and even more emergency room visits. The source or reason for the inflammation is never addressed with the OTCs.
The root of so much our inflammation and pain is what we are eating and drinking and what we are NOT eating and drinking. I preach it every day in the office: stay away from the bagged, boxed and wrapped food stuffs and shop in the produce area of the store. Drink a lot of water (64-80oz) per day. Get half of your water consumption in form of Green Tea (tea that you brew and not bought in the prepackaged bottles). Limit consumption of “bad” fluids…soda, coffee, black tea, sports drinks, energy drinks…to no more than two per day; preferable NO bad drinks in a day. Greatly limit sugar consumption and absolutely no artificial sweeteners.
Why this rant? Because I want you get healthy and stay healthy. The more “bad” habits that you keep doing, the more you will need my help and the longer it will take for you to get over your pain. The healthier the lifestyle, the less you will need my or any other doctor.
